“Diet for a Small Planet” was a 1971 book by Frances Moore Lappe about eating vegetarian meals to save the planet.  Since then, vegetarian meals and vegan meals are more commonplace in restaurants and take out eateries.   There are companies devoted to vegetarian cuisine.  There is an environmental impact to meat production. The podcasts discussed complete sources of protein such as rice and beans  or rice and soy (tofu) or nuts and legumes.
